@Blogrich55 Hi Rich, yes they did show a wee bit :) No we don't do the Thanksgiving thing here (turkeys are more worried at Christmas here:) We celebrate when Guy Fawkes tried to blow up Bonnie Prince Charlies' great great grandfather's parliament up on November 5th, when we have bonfires and set off fireworks, much like your 4th July celebrations. Nice talking with you.

@kingmidas I guess my Puritan leanings showed in my comment:) Well, that said, it is Turkey Day here in the States and though you don't celebrate it, brother, I pray you have a happy, blessed day over there!

@Blogrich55 Cheers Rich, many thanks for your comments. Yes it's a mixed topic, Charlie's father thought he was the true Monarch of Great Britain, which he was really, but for the defeat of his father earlier. The lyrics I found were 'Better loed ye canna be;' which I thinks is Scottish for loved, although I could be wrong :)

@scottishartist1292 Many thanks for your comments , it means a lot to me. I was influenced by Kenneth Mckeller in the singing of this.

Very nice! This tune sounds familiar but I don't think I have heard the song before. Keep on singing my friend. God bless.

@detaylor7 Cheers Don, yes it is an old traditional Scottish tune, used with a poem by Carolina Oliphant (Lady Nairne)
