This video takes you step-by-step through the County of San Diego Adoption process. At any given time, over one hundred children in San Diego County's foster care system are waiting for permanent adoptive placement. The children range in age from toddlers to young teens, come from diverse ethnic backgrounds, or are siblings who need to be placed together. Some children may have medical, educational or emotional needs that require special attention. We are looking for mature individuals who have the flexibility, commitment, humor, love and understanding it takes to be a parent. Children right here in our own community need a place to call home.
