Yet another great European invention! Very cool. Let`s say that instead of 280.000 they save only 100.000Euro`s in fuel a year. That`s still very much worth it. And perhaps they could even increase the sail (and thus the effect) in second or 3generation versions.

Unless the cargo is cheaper who cares.

Wind is CHEAP! :) (and clean)... As an old "smut pot" sailor, I used to envy the sailboats as i watched my fuel tanks drop during a cruise.

I've worked on one of these ships...pretty cool. It seems like a genious hi-tech way of transportation when all it is is reverting to old technology.

well thats nice. i guess you are a specialised areodynamic engineer of some kind? Perhaps running some complex sort of computer modelling program on your pc? Seriously what is the point of random assertions.

this does not replace the engine, it works alongside it,

it can produce about 6,800 HP

motor sailing is fine with me.
