Garnet Rogers talking about and performing one heck of a powerful song. Doug Long backs him up on fiddle. Please excuse the occasional hiccoughs, but it's encoded from a vidow tape
There is not reason to compare Stan with Garnet. If you ever had the chance to see Stan Rogers and Garnet Rogers perform together you would know that they truly enjoyed working together. Garnet had to move on after Stan's death. He is a great artist in his own right. just enjoy the music of both.
uhhh i think your thinking of a different word than ephemeral...talent isnt just a one day thing....but i agree who is to say one is more talented than another.
Such a beautiful song, and damn...he was a looker! (And he's aged well...is it creepy for me to say that?) :D

Even though I haven't lost a brother . . .somehow, I understand him. Brilliant.

I love when singers and/or songwriters tell us stories about a part of their lives...this is sooooo cool!!
