Firefighters struggled with 89,000 bushels of soy beans over 10 hours on Aug. 19 in an effort to recovery the body of 50-year-old Jim Leach, who died when he became buried in a grain silo.
@McGatersauce sorry I am mistaking this for an accident that happened in Hamilton victoria simular. The rescue crew only had to throw him a rope to attach to his harness but they neglected to do so and cut a hole in the silo which pulled him under.
@madrx2 your an uneducated idiot ...had they thrown him a rope it would have done absolutely no good, the beans would act as a quicksand and you just slowly sink he would of pulled more people in to die with him...a rescue crews job is not to kill themselves to save others, its to save them when possible
all because the stupid morons neglected to throw him a god damn rope! Fucking absolute morons the rescue crew that day. I hope they all suffer the same fate
