baghdeda yes some tribes did help the ottomans they not only killed christians but muslim kurds too who were opposed to the turkish control so they were paid assassins and didn't care. Those kind of people are in every race. My grandmother was a christian and a surviver of the genocide. She and her family took refuge in Zakho just like the christians are doing now escaping to kurdistan. Kurdistan is the land of Caldians and Assyrians too and are welcome anytime.

I agree not all Kurd involved in killing the Christians. There was even some tribes which helped them. However the Christians were killed because only because of their faith and not because they were against the Ottomans or the Kurds.

It's the Arab extremism, aren't the majority of the Kurds are Muslims and yet they faced extermination ? over 180,000 killed and put in mass graves, 8,000 villages razed to the ground, they killed all men and women except the young women who were sold to Egypt and other arab countries to work in brothels . All that was done using the verse ANFAL from the quran. that's in 1987-1988 alone.

Well the Kurdish tribes had helped the Ottoman army in slaughtering the Christians in Upper Mesopotamia in during the 19th century and around the WWI.

Also In ANFAL camapain hundreds of innocent Christians were killed and a lot of Churches were destroyed.

there is no solution for the Christians in the Islamic world because the problem is not the moslem people, the problem is the quran commandments to kill Christians and Jews. You could become a friend with a moslem and the moslem accept your friendship but when their leader commands them to jihad, they have to obey the quran, not your friendship. So, please leave the Islamic countries before it is too late.

This rips my heart out. Is there anything that anyone can do for these people? Are there any aid organizations for the Iraqi Christians? I have some Assyrian friends and the stories they tell me...it is too much to bear. What can anyone do? I cannot just watch this happen! It is the worst injustice!
