Obama kicks off deficit town halls: "Good to be back"

President Obama kicked off a string of town hall meetings on his deficit reduction plans in Northern Virginia Tuesday, telling the young crowd of about 800 it was "good to be back." Obama also said everyone in Washington agrees the deficit is a problem but there is a "big philosophical divide" on how to solve it in a "balanced way."

The things is Obama has alot of work to do if he expects the American people to have confidence in him. We are $14.2 trillion deficit and borrow at $2 million a minute from the Chinese, if we can see that borrowing rate go up higher to three minutes thats progress. Obama has alot of work to do in order to restore confidence to the people which he has till next year or he will be looking for another job elsewhere.

I'm dissapointed in Obama like everyone else, but we have to stop and think and come to an understanding that Obama inherited alot of mess from Bush and its going to take more than four years to see any results. Obama cares and he is working hard to fix and address the problem thats why he traveling to Virgina, California and Nevada to answer anyones questions. Also you have the Republicans giving Obama a hard time to reach a bipartisan agreement on things.

Give Mr. Obama a break guys and see the whole picture. Obama inherited two wars, the collapse of the banks and housing markets and also high job loss and unemployment. It will take Obama more than four years to see any results. We borrow $2 million a minute, If the borrowing rate goes up higher than thats progress. Obama's focus is speaking of the problem at Virginia, California and in Nevada. His focus is #1 How we got here, #2 importance to deal with fiscal reform and #3his vision gettin there
