  • oh god, my my ragtime guitar master

  • Totally agree with this - no nylon strung guitar has ever come close!

  • You should hear his arrangements of "Wild Cherries Rag" and "Grampa's Spells" , 2 of my favorite rags on a kicking mule LP "Contemporary Ragtime Guitar" but have never seen tabs for these. His and Ton Van Bergeyk's arrangements are the very best in my opinion!

  • what a wonderful tune. this man is incredible at what he does.

  • @ddanze try emailing stefan grossman (the producer of this video and great guitarist himself). In all of his publications he explicitly asks for people to send in transcriptions of songs he plays or produces.

  • Well, I've finally worked out the tab for this but don't know if it's ok to distribute.

There are some definite tricks & turns to it, but starting slowly it picks right up!

  • TOO BAD there's no tab anywhere for this

but on the DVD said it would be...

  • absolut, absolut, original Dave Laibman, very very good. I must pracise the "wall street rag" from Mister Dave Laibman. Absolut good guitar player and inspirator. Now i need a beer....

  • Really fantastic. I really like both of Mr. Laibman's new videos. I'm really happy that he has decided to share his talent with us in video format.

  • ...the world still ows you credit, Laibman.. Transcribing complex ragtime comps´ over night, piano´rools, you name it. Im sorry an´ a little devostated, that you never recorded much. Teaching musical theory´s okay. Just too bad we never shared your full potential, Lt. General of guitar playin an´ transcriptions. I sure hope, you´ll show people out here a little more instruction- as well as your breattakin´ performancevideos. Still not rusty after all these years.. Best of luck, Laibman...
