@Orctrist Those little spoiled white children don't have any souls. So of course they won't relate to these songs. These songs were consciously powerful and well written. With great voices presenting them. If anyone finds that funny there is something dear missing inside. And that is a "Soul"...

They laugh because they are probably some white spoiled kids who have yet to experience the trials and tribulations of life. Don't worry they will one day remember when they laughed at the performers who some have since passed away. When these immature children finally do experience hard times then they'll come back and know what this song really means. In the meantime keep laughing and drinking your milk. I will not comment again.

Yeah, definitely. I actually think the Wiz had more inspirational and strong messages behind the songs than the original Wizard of Oz did. This and "If you beleive" by Lena Horne are some of my favorites!
