after i watched this video, my insight is very open because the video is very good to give information HTML5 isn't going to be something that will just fade away into oblivion, even if Adobe wishes it would.

One more thing, ios needs a better platform for video playback on the internet. You almost don't need a YouTube app really. That's not to say they can have an app, but to me at least, it's irrelevant. Because Dailymotion for example can run on Quicktime. It looks ok ish, but it's a bit blurry, but only on some video's.

I think Flash is going down the shitter. (Please excuse my language.) I've herd about HTML5 just recently, and it's going to be the beginning of a new era of video on the internet. Especially with live streaming. I use Firefox, and some video content lags, it's not that great of quality, and the atchuall page takes awhile to load up sometimes. I hope that HTML5 will be more officisant.

No. HTML 5 is a markup language, Flash actionscript is basically a full blown programming language that can do anything. Big difference... As far as videos, sure HTML 5 might end up being the first choice in the future. However Adobe has made Flash more efficient then it has been in the past so the less power consumption/ less cpu cycles argument that HTML 5 had is mute now. And no Chris, video in HTML 5 does not look better then video in Flash.. If anything its equal in quality, not better.
answer: no.
