Hi Natasha, Great video! You've inspired me to grow some of my own sprouts! :)
Earlier today I bought raw organic sunflower seeds in bulk for salads. - They had the shell removed already. Could I use these for sprouting or does the shell have to be on them still?

It seems like you would need to get pasteurized soil to prevent illness from sprouts - ecoli could easily be in this soil - just soo many people on earth in many ways we can't live like they did 100-200 years ago...

i had a bird feeder which had sunflower seeeds in and when the birds droppped the seeds they grew on my grass :) but it was very wet because i live in england
