This movie is a parody of the holiday parties that never seem complete without a punch bowl...and high-tech devices.

Here, the Tesla CD Turbine, Kitchen Edition, does the work for us as a Punch Bowl SuperStirrer. (It's not really punch, folks, just watered-down lemonade)

The Tesla CD Turbine is a little turbine made from recycled CD's, CD spindle, neodymium magnets, and glue. It's based on a disc turbine invented by Nikola Tesla 100 years ago. This model runs on faucet water pressure.

(DISCLAIMER: note: no alcohol was harmed in the making of this movie. In fact, NO ALCOHOL WAS USED in the making of this movie!)

  • This is not a tesla turbine, there is no laminar flow (hic) here: Perhaps you should find out what a tesla turbine/pump is?

  • @TheOakRoom

What makes you claim there is no laminar flow through the tapered nozzle and closely spaced discs in this turbine??

This is a Tesla Turbine magnetically driving a Tesla disc pump. Both turbine and pump work by adhesion of the boundary layer moving between the discs. Laminar flow occurs both between the .030" spaced discs in the drive turbine and between the driven pump discs.

  • the annotation at 1:08 made me sad. You could tell before that, but I wanted to think it was really alcohol :(

  • @Lessinath

Some hope it is alcohol, and some fear it is. Both are illusions.

  • i see you were drunk when making this video.. i also see youre canadian

  • @brokenbutterfly8

I see your statement is half right...or half wrong, depending on how you look at it.

I will keep watching. The observation about the lemons not being suck up into the vortex was pretty good because it should go inside as planets go around and into the vortex of a black hole, cool machine. lol
