Batman: Arkham City is a 2011 action-adventure video game developed by Rocksteady Studios. It is the sequel to the 2009 video game Batman: Arkham Asylum, based on the DC Comics superhero Batman. The game was released by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. The game was officially announced during the 2009 Spike Video Game Awards and was released worldwide for consoles, beginning in North America on October 18, 2011, with the PC version scheduled for November. A Wii U version is scheduled for release in 2012.

The game was written by Paul Dini. The game features a main plot and a subplot. Side missions are available instead of an open-world concept. The main plot revolves around Batman being captured and thrown into half of Gotham City, with prisoners of Black Gate Prison and Arkham Asylum, called Arkham City. Consequently, Batman must now stop mishaps around the city. The game has received universal acclaim from critics.

  • 3:20 you get a medal for crotchslapping?

  • @wizofhell The power of Catwoman ;)

  • Some one's probably already told you this but... you don't have to crawl/crouch to be silent like with Batman and Robin.. you can run right up behind them and they wont hear you as Catwoman.. she's "light-footed"

  • @RealCoolFreakinGuy Yeah but they can see you over fences

  • 0:42 she kisses him!

  • Wtf i dont get the the little spikes dont worrrrk

  • I have to say it's kind of funny that none of the characters actually KILL their opponents, resorting to "non-fatal" though inarguably brutal takedowns. Personally, after seeing some of the moves that the playable-characters do, I'd rather be killed. I mean, is it really more "good" to not kill someone if what you do to them will leave them in a wheelchair for life breathing and eating through the same tube and talking through computer beeps?

  • That's a good point- I don't have Catwoman myself on my 360 but every other character I do have. I've seen people use her before though. After playing more, I realize (kind of obviously, I guess) that EVERY character is theoretically good at both Combat and Predator depending on how you use them. Nightwing and Catwoman seem to appeal more to those who prefer fast, light strikes while Robin and Batman are slightly slower, but more powerful.

  • @TrueDreamscape Batman has every tool, so definitely the best predator. The only one with sonic batarang is a big deal. Catwoman's combat is flawed. She would be the best minus her unsafe shield takedown. Hers is glitchy and isn't as invincible like the other characters, otherwise, her high speed and relatively safe fists of fury would probably make her the one of the best in combat.

  • 0:42 now I want her to knock me out.

  • @TrueDreamscape Nope. Other way around. In my opinion, Catwoman is better in combat than in predator.

  • .Catwoman and Robin are probably tied for best Predator characters.

Nightwing and Batman are slightly geared more towards combat it seems.

  • Pretty frickin cool!!

  • @1:43 xD it looks like shes humping him

  • That was sexy dangerous, but mostly dangerous!
