In a 2007 DVD entitled "The Lovin' Spoonful with John Sebastian - Do You Believe in Magic," author Sebastian illustrates how he SPED UP the three-chord intro from Martha and the Vandellas' "(Love Is Like a Heat Wave)" to come up with the intro to "Do You Believe in Magic."

So he can copy someone else, but a genius does the same here and its not ok? I did similiar and SLOWED DOWN the song to fit the original video, so it's not the original song. Kudos to the original video creator; it was not me.

Please John and WMG i made this to COMMENT on how great this song is with no expecations of anything. Yes, I am CRITICIZING, WMG for their actions but also am TEACHING, I hope, that music should not be censored by greed in this forum of us little people and "et al".

It's great that you finally got the Spoonful's version of Do You Believe in Magic bvack up on YT. It amazes me how YT can allow bland cover versions of this song by Disney singers Aly and AJ ,and Shaun Cassidy, but not allow the Lovin's Spoonful's? What is it with You Tube?
