Reprap- Day 31 First Print

Printing the coin-op bottle opener from thingiverse. It's a metric Prusa Mendel, RP from Spacexula, with Gen6 electronics, motors from Ultimachine, belts and pulleys from McMaster.com. Running only repsnapper to convert the stl to gcode. (The skeinforge export starts too far above bed.)

@linkspecialproximity That code was just from Repsnapper and the machine wasn't calibrated yet. I've moved on to Skeinforge 40 and it's looking better. I've been spending a lot of time getting the settings perfect.

I think your Z step per rev are off. the hot end is floating too high above the part

@2robotguy I recently calibrated the steps per mm and they are looking better now. Works great when I set Bottom to 0.0 in SF40. It sticks like a mother to the bed now.

Did you have to drill holes in the wades extruder to mount that version of hot end?

@rnewman5 No, It already had the holes for it. I had to add the block after I mounted it to the x carriage.

3:50 looks like the whole frame is moving, is it? This could knock out alinement good for first go
