70's, Friday Night sliding at Cost Mesa. I loved the smell of nitro and holding that piece of plastic in front of my face while the dirt flew. I also loved to watch the newbies ride.

Yeah, I remember when I was a pitman way back in the 70's and 80's...watching the races from the pit wall in turn one...I got more entertainment from the fans there than the races!
