Travis Fimmel Interview with Avi the TV Geek

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - Travis Fimmel stars in the new A&E drama The Beast with actor Patrick Swayze, who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2008.

Fimmel talks about what's it is like working on the set with Swayze these days. Towards the end of the interview, Fimmel reveals how Swayze's past work Dirty Dancing appeared in the new show.

Fimmel, a former Calvin Klein model, is from Echuca Victoria, Australia and was raised on a dairy & beef farm located between Melbourne and Sydney. He talks about having to do an American accent and who does a better job with accents: American actors or international actors?

He is amazing!!! I dated a guy in 1991 that looked a lot, lot like Travis. His name is Jamie and he is from GA. It is funny there last name is similar and there b-day are both in July. My guy is 4 days and 8 years older than Travis. My guy, Jamie was the love of my life. When I saw Travis's eyes on Chase. I said OMGosh, their eyes look almost exactly the same. Then I started looking at the rest of his face and their nose and lips are a lot a like. It is scary.
