This is a LOW COMMITMENT method of brewing that you can brew INDOORS on your STOVE TOP! No mashing or fancy tools required! This is meant to REPLACE any of the tin can or Mr. Beer methods of brewing you might be getting sold on. BE SMART! Do NOT waste money on these kits!

Here we show you how to decipher a recipe, and what you can replace in the recipe.

Do NOT get sold on pre-packaged kits that will turn out poor beer! Do NOT get sold on promises of 'beer in 6 days!' Do NOT listen to the guy who's been brewing for 40 years and 'never had a problem' and 'it tastes great!'. Do NOT get sold on people trying to 'sell' you things or have ultimate motives.

And what ever you do, do NOT buy any Cooper's beer brewing products regardless of who you see online advertising for them. It is money down the drain. Take it from someone who got suckered in himself.

Did you use carafa 3 or carafa special 3. Regular carafa is just a standard roasted malt. The special is dehusked and has considerably less roast character.

@dannypo Hey that's a good question.. let me check.. Yes it was "Carafa Type 111 1lb Special" If you bite one of the grains, it's very strong tasting. I needed to use .3lbs to get the SRM I wanted. It's not strong at all, but it is there which throws off the balance. Not competition ready.

Hey everyone, LME is bad. Don't use it....nobody else does!!!! This advice from someone who wears a surgical mask during yeast inoculation, lathers himself with Purell, and takes 44 minutes to fill up a pot with water.

i brewed a black ale ( the vid is posted ) i used 10 oz of dehusked carafa III and cold steeped 6 oz of black patent and have NO roast flavor or chocolate at all.

Some one needs to make a cliff note version of your videos. Just because you can upload an 11 minute video doesn't mean they all need to be 11 minutes.

Here I'll start by doing cliff notes for this video: You talk more about the 1070 beer. (But nothing intelligent or informative) Than you pour 1.5 gallons of water in a pot, than re-pour it into another pot. End.

Yea, were nasty because you jumped the hate wagon with Nige and started bashing craig instead of just coming out and saying that you don't approve of his brewing techniques or equpment.
