My second photographic slideshow of St. Margaret's Shrine in Bridgeport, Ct.
Why wasn't God watching? Why wasn't God listening?

  • I stopped one night after closing my bookstore, at the time, to listen to the words, and I wept. Like the Psalms, honest with every fiber of being.

  • I am only watching this for the music... You seem to be taking the lyrics out of context.

  • Believe it or not, this shrine was built on my grandmothers land. She donated it to the shrine many many years ago. Her house is the one attached to the back of the property, it has a long driveway and some grape vines over a large trellis, at least it was still there a few yars ago

There are berry bushes all around. And if you look carefully you can see the holes that were drilled to dynamite the mountain in order to build the Shrine.

    Is it on Park Place?

    Thank you

  • Michael, Stunning, painful, artistic, and real.

  • Astoundingly beautiful images, astoundingly beautiful song. The successive, receding images of the Crucifixion gate, with the sun at Jesus' feet--wonderful.

  • God loves you, reason for everything, smile

Exodus 4:10-11 Then Moses said to the Lord, "O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue." So the Lord said to him, "Who has made man's mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the Lord?

  • As good as it gets... If you love this, read Peter De Vries, *Blood of the Lamb"

    Thank you, Michael.

  • Thank you Michael!

  • I'm a spiritual servant of God and I've got to admit; this video render's me speechless. I am someone who normally has an answer for everything... except this

    Thank you

  • Very touching and ironic at the same time... Once again, the Tom Waits music fits perfectly.
