Same point of aim, we were showing the minor point of impact shift between suppressed and non-suppressed, 2" vertical is VERY minimal. It is not due to velocity loss, adding a suppressor usually increases velocity slightly. It's due to the added bbl weight affecting how the rifle recoils, typically the lighter the suppressor the less the point of impact shift.

What it did was add weight to the end of the barrel decreasing muzzle rise which results in the lower hits. Adding a silencer doesn't always decrease the muzzle velocity. If you add it to a short barrel it will actually increase it.

Well, ...adding silencer > lower muzzle velocity > more vertical drop of bullit over shot distance > bullit hits lower at 100yds. Thus, no wonder the shootist hits the white square after switching to silencer mode, because that scope was adjusted to silencer shooting at first.

You have to re-adjust the scope when switching between w/o silencer.

Was Bill's point of aim different when using the suppressor to demonstrate group size, or did the suppressor cause enough velocity loss to drop 2 moa?

I assume it was a different point of aim, but you should clear it up for those viewing.
