My Baby Alligator Snapping Turtle On The Hunt...

My alligator Snapping Turtle hunting for minnows...I just chaged her aquarium a lil bit....changed gravel for sand and added more rocks and some plants. It like it beeter now and it actually moves around and looks for the fish....something she wasnt doing before.

how do you keep the water so clear? my water is like a tinted yellow.

@epicchapnasty a good filter. Your water could be like that if you have wood in it.

I need help i have on just like that , but it doesnt want to eat anything :( i have a red eared slider thats 11 years old & a baby alligator snapping turtle , they both get along great but the snapping turtle doesnt want to eat anything & i dont want it to die , can you help me ?

@KathyStar94 You should put it on its own enclosure....add wood and places for it to hide..and fee live food like minnows and gold fish even small crayfish.

i love my snapping turtle except his shell curves in and affects the use of his back legs so its hard for him to swim and walk... does anyone have an idea of what i could do to help him to walk normal again??
