Compromise killed the health care bill and it killed cap and trade. What if the truth does not lie in a compromise but on one side? And the republicans are much more corrupt than the democrats. Democrats receive ear marks too, but it was the liberal supreme court justices who fought against unlimited corporate handouts to campaigns. I'd say taking donations from corporations is pretty corrupt, yet that's how republicans are funded.
