Public Land self filmed bowkill with Firenock and bow mounted camcorder

A hunt for my first public land deer 11.2.09. Self filmed with a bow mounted camcorder. Also using Firenocks so you can see the shot.

You are the loudest hunter I do believe. Invest in land of your own and manage it. My dad and I did. You must have a old bow. Invest in some monkey tails and a dead end string stop

@mossyo92 What I am shooting is a 07 Elite Synergy. Hell of a shooting bow. Of course its loud because the camera is mounted to the bow. It has a MeanV string stopper. cat whiskers. its very modern I promise. Im gla you and your father have land an can manage it. I hope one day to have the same, but for now a great coworker is letting me hunt on his 500+ acres. And im doing well there smacking the does!

@aanschutz24, One thats hunting for meat. You can't eat antlers. I am not a "sportsman", thats a politicians word. I am a hunter. I already took another yearling this year, one of the two shots given to me, I only had three days to bow hunt, so I took what was given to me. And boy, they taste much better then a buck in rut! Not all public land is created equal. But thanks for the commment.

Congrats on the deer!!! Very well placed shot... Thats how to put em down quick. I just started filming myself this year so I know how hard it is. I've got a couple vids up so far....Again great job!!!!

This is a little late, but good job bro. Dude I have been hunting for 8 years now and I can count on one hand how many deer I have killed with my bow. I rifle hunt to, but never shoot a deer with it. I hunt public land too, so I know how hard it is to kill deer, let alone see one. Don't let nobody discourge you about the size. If you hadn't shot that deer, I guarantee somebody else would have. Meat is meat right.!!!!

Excellent man !!! A deer Is a Deer....remember people sometimes you let a little one go then never see another Deer so just shot man..Its meat...plus its public land !

@aanschutz24 Public land is NOT even CLOSE to equal to private land. Private lands are SO much better, However.. I agree with you, hunting for meat or not, fawns is just a bad outlook on us hunters.
