Happy Holidays from XDA TV

so I got a question for you? I recently purchased the samsung galaxy s2 skyrocket for at&t. I have been on the unlimited data plan since 2007 I received a text message christmas day they told me my speed was going to be trouble. And it was massively !!!! Wtf right I put my sim card back in my old smartphone POS atrix 4G and low and behold the phone it was my throttle so is it a text message that doseit or is it just a new lte phone thing?
