Looking back on this race I'm remembering a few other runners I watched come up through the HS ranks. Three steeplechasers, Ashley Higginson up front in the Princeton Orange, and Shelby Greany, Hannah Davidson of Providence College. Three of the top steeplechasers in the country, they have this 3K down to a science. The disadvantage they face is the kick at the end. There's no room for developing a super-fast kick in steeple. Congrats Princeton! #2 on the Forbes best college list in 2011.

I agree with the commentator after the finish, Jordan Hasay has reached another level of running. This was the best in the NCAA, she's run a 4:39 and 4:33 Mile and a 4:30 1600 yesterday and today, and she's walking off the track right now with a smile on her face and an amazingly quick recovery. She's still 19 years old until next September. That is a well-coached & well-trained girl!
