this is exactly it. People miss the whole point of the episode/show if they think it has anything to do with homosexuality. Just because characters are homosexual doesn't mean that the plot is about homosexuality. Are movies with straight people about heterosexuality just because there's straight people?

Sexaul orientation's other than one's own are easy to deal with and shouldn't bother anyone. - Though it is nice to have stuff like this where the main character just-so-happens to be gay without being camp.
