@aidenmccloskey And what makes them so effective is that they're the best way to portray the inner-narrative that the characters make in the comics. You know, dem orange boxes. Better than the "narration during gameplay" gimmick.

The Darkness 2 looks like it's going to be an incredible game. The original was brilliant. What makes The Darkness great is the fact that it stands out from other shooters. It has a charming uniqueness and the style of the game is easy to get into.

@EnvyMizuhashi Yes! The Jackie loading screens are back and they're here to stay. They were popular in the first game. It's not surprising they're back again. They're great fillers. Loading screens are enjoyable for once.

@EnvyMizuhashi Well said. I agree. There's a lot about The Darkness series which stands out from other video games. It's a heavily underrated series. I hope the critics do The Darkness II justice.
