the reverse lights do come on its an auto

@CAT416C you can tell it is automatic because the rpm drops in gear whether its reverse or drive, manuals only drop rpm when the clutch is engaging/engaged..

i am pretty sure you are wrong about the whole automatic tranny call, because the reverse lights never came on! if it were automatic he would have to pull the shifter past reverse!!

It's an auto. Notice how the car drops when put in gear. That's the preload from the auto tranny.
