thanks...pretty much all original condition and no rust so maybe I will just keep it like this. Maybe just put a bigger engine in it.

Man, you get the taste of V-dub (especially old buses) in your veins and you can't ever be the same again.

My fartherinlaw gave me this exact model over forty years ago,six months after my wife left,my heart was broken (because he took the van back).

never been able to find another in england.

First of all awesome bus. I've got a 67 bug and it's fun but nothing comes close to a 23 window. What software did you use to make your video cause it's really cool. Enjoy your 23 window. :-)

@oscarmacaroni that is a painful story to hear. I found this in a barn/garage and think I paid 2500 for it. There is no way I would ever be able to get another one if I sold it even though a million people ask me every year. Hope that opportunity finds you again. :-)

in 1981, in burkburnet, texas, i found a 21 window titan red, sitting at a freeway on ramp for sale, it was in perfect condition, it had a for sale sign asking for $850 dollars. i still kick myself for not finding 'some way' to but it.

i was 20 years old and on a wheat harvest, my employer would not advance me any money.
