03.23.09 - 3rd Alarm, 102 E. Main St. Macungie, PA

A police officer on patrol radioed to Lehigh County of a working fire at 102 East Main St.

Fire crews found heavy fire to the rear of the 2 1/2 story E/O/R. The fire quickly spread up to the roof and across to the other 2 attached buildings, thus a third alarm was transmitted.

Tower Ladder 30 (Wescosville) & Tower Ladder 8 (Fogelsville) were positioned on side 'A' and Ladder Company 21 (Topton, Berks County) was in the rear.

The fire quickly engulfed the roof of all three buildings. The fire was under control in about 2 hours.
