FLYING SQUAD ARMED ROBBERS 2 of 4
Follows Detective Inspector Bob Berger and his Flying Squad team as they plan and carry out a dangerous undercover operation to capture James Doyle, one of Britain's youngest and most dangerous criminals, who was convicted of a string of armed raids on banks and building societies in London. Operation Crozon, as it became known, had no informants and few leads, but relied on security films to build a profile of the six-man gang and their tactics. Eventually, an officer identifies one of the criminals, and a stolen car is followed to an area near a large bank. But the officers suspect the gang have spotted them.
Thank God you've posted this. I vividly remember watching this here in Australia in 1995, and was enthralled by the dogged persistence of Inspector Berger and his men. Talk about commitment to a job until it's finished. They should make more programs like this, so we can all see how hard these men work. Most of us don't come in contact with the Flying Squad, so it's probably just as well. It'd be great to know what became of the DI Berger after his success with Crozon. The crims got 20-28 years.

So in Part 1 -- when talking about the robbers having a scanner -- am I to believe that this team of 'crack professional' bank robber catchers DO NOT have to foresight to use secure communications???!!!
Fuck off
