I have re-filmed this one because I wasn't happy with the sound on yesterday's video. Yesterday, I recorded it the way I usually do, with the amp miked and the mic going to the computer. The delay/reverb was added on the computer. Today, I have simply used the sound that was captured by the camera. For the delay/reverb, I played through my 1965 Watkins Copicat tape echo.

This solo was originally played live, by Brian Robertson, of the Irish band, Thin Lizzy, of course..---------------As for me, I was Erick Friedman's (one of the 20th century's greatest violinists) European teaching assistant and worldwide manager from 1994 until his sad death in 2004. I now teach guitar and violin privately, in London.

  • Ever the perfectionist you are, Steve and it shows!

Angelic tone and nicely played too.

You're using the guitar as it's meant to be used...as an extention of your emotions.

  • @6LQ6 - thanks very much mate.
