Special congratulations for playing all the parts of the piece. Many violinists skip that minor part, as common people do not know the entire piece.

Thank you for playing such beautiful pieces and posting them on here. It's so refreshing and wonderful to listen to instead of all the crazy stuff that people my age and younger and older are listening to. :)

@gsbreath2 Ouch! I play the viola (more correctly 'try' to:). For a test; Imagiine hearing this tune 'without' the viola. Or for that matter Brandenburg Concerto 3 with only violins! The viola (and the cello) add depth and harmony. Of course any instrument could play this solo tho. A nice combination is flute and piano.

Nice playing!
I also have a fiddle by Martin McLean - the one he made with Geary Baese: wonderful instrument...

Whoa this is seriously good!
If I were to describe it, I'd say it's refreshing, like a cold morning in which the simplicity of the new day's reborn life is the utmost celebration of the universe!

@mikel204z agreed!

awesome Duo nice playing ............
Such beautiful tones by both musicians, wonderful playing! The violinist has such a sweet sound in his tone and the camera picked up a lots of color from both instruments. Who are the makers of these instruments and what kind of recording equipment did you use to capture this?

Thank you very much. We used a simple hand held Panasonic digital DVD camera on a tripod. The violin is made by Martin McClean (from Northern Ireland) and the viola by Jan Bobak (from Poland).

Many thanks - we arranged this for two instruments from the piano /keyboard score which is widely available in any music store. This is quite straightforward to do - you just score the different parts for the correct instruments and number of players in your ensemble - best of luck with your performance!

pretty good, its just why the boring viola part?!

Many thanks for commenting. The melody starts off with the violin playing the tune and viola accompanying, if you listen all the way through the tune starts to alternate between the two instruments - it's quite equally shared, so not sure what else could have been done?
