[Problem]
Let me describe a specific problem. Transportation is the source of almost 16% of global CO2 emissions, not to mention many nasty pollutants. Petroleum-burning vehicles are the main contributor to smog in large cities, leading to respiratory problems and increased risk of heart attacks.

So what is being done about it?

Natural gas is the cleanest-burning fuel in the world after hydrogen. Vehicles converted to run on natural gas emit 25% less CO2, and up to 80% less harmful pollutants than when running on petrol. Biomethane, the renewable form of natural gas, is the cleanest biofuel available. It has no impact on food resources, is easy to process, and uses the same infrastructure as natural gas.

There are currently 10.5 million natural gas vehicles worldwide, and a total of 50 million is estimated by 2020. The market for natural gas vehicles in Asia has grown 50% every year for the last 10 years, most of which are petrol-powered vehicles converted with after-market CNG kits.
