I've watched countless of your videos, and I have to thank you. I've learned quite a bit from your techniques, even with songs I thought I'd (ahem) "mastered." On this video (Desire), you can tell that you really enjoy playing it. Keep up the good work. Wondering if you've ever done any Little Feat? Not necessarily Lowell George's slide work (I doubt anyone will ever replicate his genius), but just chordings. Thanks again.

hi pt! when you go to the D chord your thumb doesnt go to the A string to mute it.whats the muting technique you're using in this case?

@angela21215 For rock songs like this, I rarely mute the A string when I play a D chord. That A note gives it a much bigger sound. I don't play the low E note, though. I'm not muting the low E, I just don't hit it with the pick.

I have the same guitar and its a real thumper bought it because I saw you do some AC/DC tunes on the gretsch. Never would have thunk it!
