Philadelphia, PA - Mayme Hatcher Johnson, a native of North Carolina who spent most of her life in Harlem, died in Philadelphia on Friday, May 1, 2009 of respiratory failure.

All this talk about how Bumpy "took care" of Harlem.. Was he some Robin Hood or maybe a smart criminal who was buying the loyalty of potential witnesses. American Gangsta in my opinion just shows how black men back in the day help destroy our black communities. Yeah they help out...when it was needed to make them look good.
