This is the eyewall hitting the Grand Isles community of Wellington, Florida on 10/23/05. This is within minutes of the winds picking up after everyone on the block was enjoying the calm of the eyewall. The winds started to pick up and then we filmed the next few seconds. Thanks God for strongly built homes.

  • Oh, we call it the eye wall. This film was jst a moment after the calm of the eye of ther storm...no winds. Everyone on the block was out surveying damage, it was calm,a little cloudy, no sun, then the bottom half of the eye wall closed in and the rest is in the film.
