The number of people who have died in wars and genocides during the 20th Century.

*The figure can be debated. Numbers I found ranged from 100 million to 240 million. The numbers I counted myself came to about 160 million. So I guess I agree with this site:

Either way, the number is staggering. And one can only hope that the 21st Century won't follow suit. And I can almost guarantee it won't if citizens insist it doesn't.
