Is The Prophet ﷺ An Ordinary Man Like Us?

Throughout these modern times, it is important that all muslims follow the correct path, and hold the utmost respect when talking about Resulullah, (صلي الله عليه وسلم). This is because there are many groups today who claim the title of "Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jamaah" but they, knowingly or unknowingly degrade the status of our beloved Prophet (صلي الله عليه وسلم) by calling him, "an ordinary man like us." [Nauzubillah]

Like i said to you, only those (from the past) who insulted the Prophets of Islam (salawatullahi ta'ala 'alaihim ajmain) used to say, "Thou art no more than a mortal LIKE US"...that's how the disbeliever’s in the time of Sayyidina Nabi Salih, (alayhi salatu wa salam) used to address him. Go and learn your deen brother, you cant talk like that about Resulullah (sallallahu 'alayhi wa alihi wa sallam)

I don't think you understand my point... did i say he was not a human? and when you write about our beloved Prophet (sallallahu 'alayhi wa alihi wa sallam), then put, "sallallahu 'alayhi wa alihi wa sallam" at the end of his blessed name, not just "saaw".

We do not overpraise Muhammad saaw like the christians do with Jesus AS .. Many hadith and verses make it clear he was a human like me and you who passed away like me and you will... Whats my innovation? Its our religion to love our messenger saaw but it dosent mean making things up and celebrationg his birthday and all these things that the prophet himself did not tell us to do

Yes off course we are not like him.. He may Allahs peace be upon him recieved revelation.. And was a prophet.. And is the best of creation past and present.. No doubt about that.. But to go over board like praying to him.. Celebrating his birthday... Putting him in a position where he himself diddnt mention is all brand new things.. Which is mainly caused by overpraising.
