On February 12, 2008, the membership of the Writers Guild of America, West and the Writers Guild of America, East voted overwhelmingly in favor of lifting the restraining order and ending their 100-day strike that began on Nov. 5, 2007.
I think it is awesome how much they were able to achieve. That they got 100 percent more than they were making is a small win but it is a win. Next, they will make 100 percent of what they should be earning. With that, hopefully there will be programs developed in schools relating to that field directly. A program like that would be a tax write off, make the people happy and stimulate a growing economy by getting people active in viewing films socially again. More theaters and less home viewing

92% of 3775 writers voted to end the strike, That's 35% of the membership voted to end the strike. Don't you love statistics?
So what about the other 65%? Are they non-entities or what?
