  • The return line is, so it needs to be at the right angle for driving on flkat surfaces and going up and down steep grades. Don't do it yourself if you don't know what your doing. I'm not claiming to be a expert but every car I've owned was turbocharged factory. And always upgrade but installing a turbo on non turbo engine is more than bolt-on. Compression, injectors, fuel, software, +1 most important TUNING

  • @fockyoumang

Not really no, there's 10-90psi of oil pressure on the inlet line, doubt there's absolutely no pressure at the other end (isn't much, but still). But no argument about the tuning.

  • Whoever installed it was an idiot and never clock'd the turbo. The oil drain is gravity feed. Every vid on these blown turbos that I've seen, oil retun was sideways. Theres more to a turbo than bolting it on!!!

  • @fockyoumang

    They're not gravity fed.... lol?

  • @briggsandclones yes they are

  • @PedoBearRunKids

There's pressure on the input. There is pressure on the output lol.

  • not going to lie i almost called you an idiot until i heard 85 bucks lol.

  • Any word on how this turbo has fared? A friend of mine just gave me the exact turbo you're showing here, and I'm going to be installing it sometime in the spring, and I was wondering how it held up, and if there are any issues I should be concerned about?

  • nevertheless, i would never buy a turbo off ebay :/

  • the return like needs to be pointing straight down, you do have some pressure there but that pressure is not met for pushing oil into the pan. The return line needs to be as easy flowing as possible.

  • Blaastperformance. Just talk to them. car-parts. com, 1986-87 Merkur XR4Ti Manual tranny. Garrett .63 ar 100$ and rebuild kit. Viola!!! A real turbo.

  • First of all the oil retun lines matters, second whoever said that they don't use ball bearings is insane!!! Garretts new tech has ball bearings.

  • @fockyoumang You never know whats the position of the turbo on the engine.
