Increasingly, doctors are prescribing antipsychotic drugs for bipolar and Attention Deficit Disorder diagnoses in youths. Recently the FDA approved the antipsychotic drug Risperdal for kids. If a child suffers adverse effects as a result of these prescriptions, will plaintiffs' attorneys prevail? Or do recent developments in the law provide greater "cover" to potential defendants?
