About Master chief: The Master Chief is one of the most visible symbols of the Halo series. The list of priorities is the first time I've heard that. Others have eluded to it, but you're the first to explicitly state "go from shape/lines to value, then edges." Most speedpaintings I've seen make everything look either very difficult or very easy (but impossible for me); you actually make me feel like I could do something like this. You also remind me that having form is more important than perfect subject drawing. I loved your commentary while doing this painting. Thank you
