DSi XL & R4i card-does it work & link?

just testing to see if my DSi XL links to my DS with my R4i card and does it all work ok and comparing them.

Hi Richickins, My sons have dsi and R4i upggrade version 1.4 in red. I downloaded some games from 1 dsi to another DSi but since it had stoped working. I have deleted the Games and the date is set the date but still it does not work. Can you plesae help. It stays as LOADING but nothing seemsto hapen. PLESAE HELP. My kids are really not happy.

Hi, not really sure what has happened..try taking all the games off and put them on the computer..then just put 1 game on and see if it loads..sometimes 1 game can muck up everything...if it still says loading then try another game..if it still says loading then it must be the kernal so try downloading it again from the link i will leave you in your inbox... let me know what happens

I have a R4 3d Gold its in the yellow package and trying to use it with my dsi xl just bought 2011 ver 1.4.3 but i keep gettign an error my icon is coming up with finding nemo any help

@richpickins i dont own a r4i but i do play all my roms on a emulator and when i have to many roms in one file the roms slow down so the r4i is much faster (this is very important) but dont put too many rms on your r4i card it can store alot of roms but to many can slow your r4i down hope this comments help alot of people.

@felix154ever No its not compatible you need an R4i SDHC but that new card will also work in your dsi, ds lite,and ds phat.

Let me get this straight - If I have a DSi XL I need an R4i SDHC? I was using a similiar card -an R4 on my DS lite. Is the standard R4 not compatible with the DSi XL?
