  • Speaking as a former Deputty Constable who transported many, yes they should!

  • I totaly agree. I am from Delaware County and have a fully caged vehicle and always transport prisoners in full restraints, no matter what. Its just funny that when you have these issues you always have that guy that wants to say that will never happen and wants to make everyone else look like a jackass. Its hard enough throughout the day for people to take us serous, and we certainly dont need to add prisoner escapes to the fire.

  • I am a Constable in Jefferson County, I run an 04 vic with cage and window bars, regardless of the prisoner they are cuffed behind the back or in full restraints to include cuffs belt and leg irons. I think it should be mandatory. If you don't care about your own safety, how do you protect the public
