@kylewest100 i just got a programmer, not only can i set the shift points but there is a setting for a stock tranny that does the same job as a shift kit and it shifts hard, having the setting on is nice to play around with but not fun at all for a daily driver

i just don't think a 4.6 can beat a ls1. stock for stock I'm sure. and i use to drive mustangs. that was a mach one so it had 32v and way ever else it comes with trans am is a 16v i think. so give the ls1 32v it should be a really big difference.

@cooldude1669 I've been told by many drag racers auto is better. even if u have to spend the extra money for shift kits and way ever else you need its more worth it in the end. these are ppl who drive 10 sec or faster cars.
