  • @suprakilzz26 first off, grats to your b7 - great car. in a crash test though under laboratory conditions you just have to use the same model to get reprensentative results. the changes between a b6 and a b7 are minor, i agree but they matter in a test like this. they made a lot of small active and passive safetey changes between those models (i explained it in an earlier comment)

  • @wuharrharr I mean there esentially the same car, I own a b7 and am an avid car guy! So i did my research on all the model's before buying. The b6 and b7 are esentially the same cars with just minor driving characteristic changes. Suspension/steering were the main things. besides that it was mostly just a facelift....

  • @wuharrharr i was hoping someone else caught that. My wife drives a 2010 model.

  • @alexcheetah79 that is wrong - again... i explained it before in an earlier comment. read that

  • @wuharrharr the b6 and b7 are technically the same platform but with different facelifts.

  • cursed dolls always hit, those unable to drive

  • @giovannicolombomi2 However, even big ridiculous SUVs have crumple zones whereas the big block of who knows what that is taking the place of an SUV in the side crash test does not have one. I take it that the smooth floor is meant to compensate for the block's lack of a crumple zone. There is a huge difference between hitting something solid in a car and something relatively squishy (like another vehicle)

  • @giovannicolombomi2 Ive seen someone get T boned, you would be surprised how much a car can get thrown sideways by a speeding SUV. However, I completely agree that the crash test rating system is rather unrealistic in a lot of ways to make people feel better. Nissan Altimas get nice crash test ratings, but they give me the impression of an aluminum can. A cheap aluminum can at that... I'd rather be in my Audi during a wreck than an equally rated Altima any day.

  • @pimpaloidas Dude 01-04 Audi A4 B6 is a different model from 04-08 its Audi A4 B7. They have similarities suspension vise etc. but they are completley dofferent models and suspesnion parts like bushings and arms would not fot from a B7 to B6. Pries komentuodamas pasidomek ;) .

  • B7 side B6 Front ????CHANGE TITLE .. before u get LOTS OF DISLIKES LOL
