From one of Bread's final tours with the original members. Mike Botts (drums, vocals) and James Griffin (guitar, vocals) sadly have since died of cancer. Botts also played for Dan Fogelberg, who has also since died of cancer. In this show, they captured their original sound beautifully and even had a string section. I have the complete 92 minute concert.

David Gates and Bread blow me away every time I hear one of their songs. Beautiful arrangements and soft, soaring vocals; I just love this stuff.

In Thailand we say he is like a coconut....the older it gets the more cream it produces.....Amazing how he sings even he is quite old now!

@magpieeye i agree - i was teen in 70s too - 52 yrs old now!! We didnt realize what beautiful music we had then. Oldies from 60s 70s 80s is all I listen to now.

It's a shame that today they have to go looking for talent...like on American Idol btw I never watch...instead of the talent coming on the radio out of the blue like it used to do. I'm so thankful I grew up with this music and was a teenager in the 70's. I get so teary eyed when I hear this and Aubrey too. all of David Gates' music affects me this way.

I miss the 70s ! Music was at its best ! None can beat the 70s music ! Today's music - auto tune , lip sync , reality shows ,synthesizers , weird voice like lady gaga , Rihanna , britanny spears , biebers ..blaaah!!!

I've always loved David Gates & Bread ! Went to his concert 11 yrs ago and his voice and the music is so wonderfully beautiful ! This is what I call a classic ! The group & songs will be heard for generations to come !

Listening to his music from back in the 70's, his voice is just as clear, clean and beautiful as it was some 25 years prior. Brings back great memories!
