Bassai Dai - IKKU National Open Karate Championship 2010 - Stuart Carson Kata.

This was my effort to perform Bassai Dai. Shotokan Karate group at the IKKU National Karate Championship in Cork in October 2010. I have had a break from training of about twenty years but have recently returned inspired by my son Kierans progress and a strong desire to be part of his future training.

I did not enter to win, just to show the younger students that it is about the experience of competition.

SHOCK - I came third and was awarded a Bronze medal. Kieran won Silver in his group. Good day.

Feel free to comment - but don't be too harsh as I have only been back training for a few months.
