my ? is if jw dont acknowledge jesus as important why when they pray they always say "jehovah through your son christ Jesus "

@mikeyg02134, this is a minor acknowledgement of him but their gospel follows the teachings of Ellen G. White. Ellen was the only person to ever teach that Jesus was an angel, if you look at the Watchtower's early teachings by Russell you will see in his writings that he acknowledged Jesus as God. The Watchtower admittedly shares so many theological teachings with the 7th Day Adventists though the Adventists condemn the Watchtowe and the Wachtower condemns the Adventists!

@mikeyg02134, you can see that the NWT is a deceptive force fitting of Scripture with the Watchtower's theology, not the proper translating. Colossians (1:16,17) have the uninspired word other inserted 4 times against the Greek. A JW will say "they are in brackets." if you have them look at the reasons for the brackets in the NWT they will irrefutably see that the insertion is against the purpose of the brackets which is to clarify the Greek for the meaning of the passage, it alters it instead!

@mikeyg02134, a JW's defense for the insertion after that is Proverbs (8:22-31) but this is easily refuted as the Word being written of as wisdom personified with a beginning in time and space. Simply ask the JW if the Christ is a woman raising her voice? Proverbs (8:1-11) speaks of wisdom as a woman not in the masculine. Then ask why in Matthew (11:19) does Christ speak of wisdom as a woman and justified by her actions like proverbs 8 instead of speaking of himself as wisdom in proverbs 8?

@mikeyg02134, "He was the object of unreproved worship even when a babe, by the wise men who came to see the new-born king He never reproved any for acts of worship offered to Himself Had Christ not been more than man the same reason would have prevented Him from receiving worship." (Watchtower Reprints, 1, Oct., 1880, p. 144).

@mikeyg02134, 1879 "His position is contrasted with men and angels, as he is Lord of both, having 'all power in heaven and earth'. Hence it is said, 'Let all of the angels of God worship him' [that must included Michael, the chief angel, hence Michael is not the Son of God] and the reason is, because he has 'by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.'" (C.T. Russell, Watchtower Nov. 1879, bracketed comment in the original)
